EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL !!!

Today I had to walk a km to the damn lifts at my ITPL office. So, I thought it's better to walk down the stair. While walking down the stair, I was lost in some speculative thinking about my new team. I met this office boy who is just 15 yrs old, seeing me with a cigarette in hand and the look on my face. He approached me and asked me if I wanted a coffee or tea, with this the conversation took place between us, I was real amazed with the kind of English language that he spoke. After a couple of min, I presumed that he had to work cause he had his sick mom and a sister whom he had to take care of and that's the reason he had to start working from a very young age of 12. I don't understand how can people employee underage people isn't it "CHILD LABOUR". The kind of sentimental person he was, I felt our people would never understand what kind of phases do our younger Indian generation is facing. Even after 50+ years of INDIAN INDEPENDANCE there are several youths in INDIA who cannot study just because they have this "EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL" which makes them to start working at a very young age to support their families. And it's not about male chauvinism or about lack of energy nor the lack of will to help each other in the family. All that the people (i.e. " who have no freaking work in life") & the government can think of is infrastructure for big offices, fight for some stupid goddamn movie release, some waste of time " HARTHAL's" which stops and makes the sticking traffic more polluting & suffocating the environment. It might seem vague on my part to interweave these things. I do agree that everyone has to work for him or her to survive. But isn't CHILD LABOUR an offence. Have a Say? Feed your comments.
